Growing Recreation in the Almanor Basin
UPDATE on "What are we doing about adding recreation features at the Almanor Recreation Center?"
An update to recreation plans is part of ARPD's monthly Board Meetings. Next meeting is January 13, 2020 at 6 PM at the ARPD Office. See Agenda posted on the "ABOUT" tab of this website.
Following public outreach meetings in early 2019 for community input, ARPD Board members have been making plans for new features at our 3-acre site near the APRD Office. We are working to create a Master Plan for planned future additions. And then what? Select the "What We Do" tab on this website, and read the Q&A's under the pull down "Site Development".

Lake Almanor offers four seasons of recreation to outdoor enthusiasts. Pick your season, pick your favorite activity. Whether water skiing, wake or snowboarding, cross country skiing, running, hiking, cycling or snowshoeing, Lake Almanor is the destination for you.
