1. Plumas County's Active Transportation Plan (completed January 2018)
The committee actively worked with the County from 2016 to 1018 to input on future walking and bicycling trail goals, objectives and strategies, as well as evaluation criteria, for the Almanor Basin. The overall objective is for new conceptual trails to be formally listed as part of the County Transportation Commission's Active Transportation Plan. Such a formality is needed to actively pursue grant funding for trail acquisition, design and construction. In essence, if a proposed trail is not on an official County map, then funding opportunities are remote. Recent good news included the County adding all our recommendations to the January 2018 Final Plan. See Final Active Transportation Plan

Almanor Recreation and Park District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Almanor Recreation and Park District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
