As an unfunded special district, Almanor Recreation and Park District (ARPD) relies on donations and sponsorships to continue to work for our community. All proceeds benefit District programs and events, as well as capital improvement projects, with an emphasis on recreation, parks and trails. Per the Internal Revenue Service, charitable contributions to governmental units are tax-deductible under section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code if made for a public purpose.
