Special Vacancy Notice

This notice is to announce that two vacancies have occurred on the Almanor Recreation and Park District Board.

The remaining Board members intend to fill the vacancies created by the resignations of Charlie Plopper and Terra Ayers, whose terms expire on December 5, 2025, The individuals  appointed to this position will serve until the next Uniform District Election or until December 1, 2025, whichever comes first.

If interested in filling the board vacancy, please submit a letter of interest to Almanor Recreation and Park District.  You can either mail to PO Box 325, Chester CA 96020 or in our drop box located by the front door at 101 Meadowbroop Loop, Chester or email to arpd01@frontier.com.

In compliance with the Maddy Appointive Registry, this appointment can be made on or after August 8, 2025
